Westchester Business EXPO: Another Big Success

More than 1,500 business people – including several prominent political leaders — turned out Wednesday at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Brook for the BCW’s 15th Annual Westchester Business EXPO, the most influential business-to-business trade show in the Hudson Valley.
The EXPO, which continues to grow in popularity year after year, featured more than 180 of the region’s elite vendors in education, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, real estate, banking, not-for-profits, law, marketing and more. In addition to visiting the two floors of exhibitors, attendees sampled a wide range of delicacies at the many food stations.
New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman stopped by and toured the various exhibitors along with BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon and BCW Executive VP and COO John Ravitz. Also attending the event was Westchester County Executive Robert Astorino who joined in a ribbon-cutting ceremony that opened the day’s event. Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas was also among the attendees.
This year’s EXPO featured “experience stations” and “Ask the Expert” booths as well as a Welcome Lounge where exhibitors can speak one-on-one with potential clients. The lounge was sponsored by X-Quisite Flowers & Events.
“The Westchester Business EXPO offers area businesses a unique opportunity to make face-to-face connections with potential new clients and business partners in an exciting and lively setting,” said Gordon. “We are very grateful for the tremendous support of our sponsors as well as the hard work of our EXPO Committee,” she added.
