Maria Bronzi to Lead BCW Education Foundation

The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) has announced that Maria Bronzi, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Altium Wealth Management and Board Chair of Feeding Westchester, will serve as Board Chair of the BCW Education Foundation. She replaces Stephen Jones, who served as chair for the past two years.

Guided by a new mission statement of “Helping Westchester Build Healthy Communities,” the BCW Education Foundation will focus on four key areas:

  • Financial Literacy
  • Healthy Work Environments, including a focus on the opioid epidemic
  • Sustainable Child Car
  • Sustainable Housing

“These are formidable challenges, but I know that through hard work and passion the BCW Education Foundation will be able to make a real and positive impact in Westchester,” Bronzi said. “I am both humbled and excited about the opportunity.”

Bronzi joined Altium Wealth in Purchase in 2014 after more than 20 years in banking. A graduate of the Executive Leadership for Women program at Rutgers University, she has expertise in all stages of change management – and a track record of success to prove it. At Altium Wealth, she builds strategic partnerships with accounting firms looking to offer wealth-management services to their clients. At Feeding Westchester, formerly known as the Food Bank for Westchester, Bronzi coordinated a national search resulting in the hiring of a new CEO and also helped balance the budget. Her specialties include team building, diversity training, strategic planning and project management.

“We know Maria is the best person to lead this effort on behalf of the Business Council of Westchester, and we are grateful for her time, energy and expertise,” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon. “These are important issues that have a direct impact on both employees as well as their employers. Through education, outreach and research, the BCW looks forward to serving the people and businesses of Westchester.”
