Demonstrating the vibrancy of business in Westchester, more than 1,500 people flocked to the Business Council of Westchester’s Business Expo on March 28.

More than 150 of the areas elite vendors and merchants were represented at the Westchester Hilton in Rye Brook. In addition to vendors, the EXPO featured “Experience Suites”, “Ask the Expert” booths and Sampler booths.

As the most influential business-to-business trade show in the Hudson Valley, the EXPO provided an opportunity for visitors to mingle with representatives of leading brands in education, healthcare, hospitality, insurance, real estate, banking, not-for-profits, law, marketing and more.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer attended the show and said that the turnout demonstrated the vitality of the business community in Westchester.

“What I am very impressed by is the vibrancy of the business community here in Westchester,” said Latimer. “The BCW brought together a host of different organizations in a variety of different fields so it really projects the diversity of the business community in Westchester and its growth potential. Government is a partner with the business community, but it is the energy of the business community that is driving this county forward.’’

The event, which is in its 16th year, provides a vibrant arena for connecting with potential clients and business partners to forge long-lasting, profitable relationships,” said Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of The Business Council of Westchester. “I want to thank this year’s sponsors for their tremendous support.’’
