BCW vice president John Ravitz recently attended the opening of a new branch office for McKissack & McKissack at 12 E. Third St. in Mount Vernon.
The Manhattan-based construction management and design company has more than 150 employees and it has managed an estimated $50 billion worth of projects over the last decade.
Cheryl McKissack Daniel leads the company with more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. During her tenure as the company’s president and CEO, she has overseen more than 6,000 projects.
The firm’s landmark projects include the Museum of African American History and Culture on the National Mall, the MGM National Harbor Casino, and the Navy Pier Centennial Projects in Chicago.
