Wegmans Comes to Westchester
The “Platinum Mile’s” repurposing got a boost this week as Wegmans grocers announced plans for a supermarket at 106-110 Corporate Park Drive. The BCW has been a big supporter of the shift from offices to housing along the I-287 corridor in Harrison. A high-quality food store like Wegmans will be needed as housing starts to rise in the area.
“This is great news for Westchester County,’’ said Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of the Business Council of Westchester. “Wegmans is a great family business, excellent corporate citizen and a terrific job-producing company with commitment to career development. I’m looking forward to welcoming them.”
