White Plains Hospital Opens New Clinical Services Facility

White Plains Hospital on Monday unveiled a new, 20,300 square-foot Central Clinical Services Facility, adding three floors to the main hospital building that will provide additional amenities for patients and staff.

As part of the $17.5 million renovation, designed by international architecture firm Perkins Eastman, the hospital added a third-floor patient and family waiting area, a fourth and fifth-floor lounge area with Wi-Fi and charging stations; a fifth-floor staff area and a sixth floor parent area on its maternity floor.

“Our new Central Clinical Services addition represents our commitment to our most valuable asset, our exceptional employees, and our constant focus on providing the best possible experience for our patients and families,” said Susan Fox, President and CEO of White Plains Hospital. “We are dedicated to constantly enhancing patient care, and our Central Clinical Services areas will help meet the needs of the families and staff who are our patients’ critical support systems.”

The latest facility is part of a the hospital’s on-going modernization project which has included a new lobby, and expansion of its cancer center and patient tower as well as the addition of satellite offices, and the acquisition of new specialist practices with locations across Westchester County from New Rochelle to Mount Kisco.
