Ivy Rehab Physical Therapy Creates Healthy Lung Program in Wake of COVID-19

Russell Zeiss, DPT, has created the Healthy Lungs program to treat patients presenting with post COVID-19 symptoms. Zeiss, a doctor of physical therapy, said he created the program to serve the community at large and help individuals affected by the virus.

“In response to New Rochelle being deemed the epicenter of this global pandemic, I created this Healthy Lungs program in order to treat patients presenting with post-COVID-19 symptoms such as overall deconditioning, muscle weakness, breathing difficulties, mobility restrictions, and other associated musculoskeletal and pulmonary deficits,’’ said Zeiss. “It is in our best interest to help these victims recover and live life to the fullest. In order to ensure doing the right thing, we are in continuous collaboration with local physicians to make sure we place all patients on the road to full recovery.”
