Congratulations to BCW Member DeCicco & Sons on the grand opening of its eagerly awaited Sleepy Hollow location on March 28th. This spectacular new store is the company’s eleventh location and the largest in Westchester. Designed to offer an elevated shopping experience, it reflects DeCicco & Sons’ commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability, and community.

The new Sleepy Hollow location encompasses approximately 50,000 square feet, including 30,000 square feet on the first floor and 7,000 square feet on the second floor of supermarket shopping space. The second floor also boasts a spacious bar with patio, as well as a remarkable 5,000-square-foot event space perfect for gatherings, celebrations, and community events. In addition, a sprawling 4,000 square foot outdoor area has been created to enhance the customer experience.

The store will feature the brand’s renowned and award-winning meat, cheese, seafood, produce, beer, bakery, and in-house catering departments, as well as a popular event catering service. One of the standout features of the Sleepy Hollow store is its Enhanced Deli Experience, which is designed to bring greater speed and convenience to the already highly regarded deli department.

Located at 1 Legend Drive in Sleepy Hollow in the mixed-use, transit-oriented Edge-on-Hudson community, the new store offers breathtaking views of the Hudson River. The store will create hundreds of new jobs and bring DeCicco & Sons’ community engagement programs and local philanthropic activities to the village of Sleepy Hollow.

DeCicco & Sons, a former BCW Hall of Fame honoree, has also integrated a wide variety of sustainable initiatives throughout the store’s construction. The store meets LEED certification standards, emphasizing energy efficiency. Additionally, the store will operate with a custom-built, state-of-the-art refrigeration system that integrates the hot water, heating and cooling system so they can work together for maximum efficiency. Lastly, Sleepy Hollow has the company’s largest solar array to date.
