Critical Need for Affordable Child Care Focus of BCW Survey

As Westchester County’s largest business membership organization focused on economic development and advocacy, the BCW has been a consistent proponent of ensuring that childcare is a priority on all levels of government. BCW has also hosted numerous business roundtable discussions to address this critical issue.

According to the NYS Department of Labor’s Child Care Report, “Access to affordable quality childcare is critical for New York State’s economic competitiveness. Lack of access to affordable childcare significantly impacts the State’s labor force levels and productivity, especially among women.”

The BCW and the Child Care Council of Westchester want to identify if local companies currently offer childcare benefits to their employees or would like to learn more information about such benefits.

Please take a moment to complete this brief survey. Click here to take the survey.

The results will be shared with all participants, along with a copy of the recently published, “Business Navigator: Employer’s Guide to Child Care Solutions in New York State.”
