Jamie O’Connell, Wealth Director at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, was presented with the Ambassador of the Year Award for 2016 at the Business Council of Westchester’s New Year’s Blast event on January 12. Through the Ambassador program, new members are mentored and given assistance in making the most of their memberships. The program includes 12 BCW members and is chaired by BCW Board Member Michael Schiliro, Senior Vice President at PCSB Bank. Ambassadors assist Vice President of Membership & Programs Sara James and Membership Coordinator Linda Tyler to support BCW members as they Build, Connect and Win!
“In Jamie’s first year as an Ambassador she welcomed and mentored more than 15 new members, helping to foster their success in membership,’’ said Sara James. “Jamie’s guidance, connections and personal touch have been outstanding throughout the year.”
In her role as Wealth Director at BNY Mellon, O’Connell is responsible for new business development and works with families, endowments and foundations to achieve their wealth management goals.
