Business Council of Westchester Celebrates 25th Annual Hall of Fame Awards Silver Jubilee
The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) proudly hosted its 25th Annual Hall of Fame Awards Silver Jubilee on Tuesday, April 28th, marking a milestone celebration honoring exceptional leadership, innovation, and impact across Westchester County’s dynamic business community.
The evening served as both a celebration of achievement and a reflection on 25 years of recognizing the individuals and organizations that help drive the region’s economic vitality. This year’s ceremony carried a particularly meaningful tone, as leaders from across industries gathered to honor excellence while reaffirming the importance of collaboration between business, government, and community.
Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of the Business Council of Westchester opened the ceremony stating “This year’s Hall of Fame winners reflect what our 25th Silver Jubilee is all about. They are shining examples of what silver symbolizes – durability and radiance and they represent a vibrant spectrum of sectors including: building infrastructure, entrepreneurship, disaster restoration, advertising, social services, healthcare and transportation.”
Jamie Schutzer, the Chairman of the BCW’s Board of Directors stated “It was important to note as we mark this milestone year, we invited our winners to reflect on the foundations of their success and to share how innovation and leadership are shaping their future. this year’s hall of fame winners, once again show the strength and vitality of Westchester ‘s business community.”
Elizabeth Bracken-Thompson, the Managing Partner of Thompson and Bender and Co-Chair of the BCW’s 2026 Hall of Fame said “This evening is a shining example of what the Silver Jubilee stands for, strength and endurance. This year’s winners have each demonstrated those characteristics.”
Joseph McCoy, Market President of Valley Bank and Co-Chair of the BCW’s 2026 Hall of Fame stated “Tonight’s winners represent a diverse range of businesses and organizations. this year’s winners are the fabric of what makes our business community so strong, and they also are an impressive reflection of the variety of members that make the Business Council of Westchester, the largest and most prestigious business membership organization in the county.”
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins underscored the BCW’s enduring role in the region’s success, stating:
“From my perspective, the Business Council of Westchester has never just been a business organization. It’s been a partner, a connector, a catalyst for the road that brings together industry, government and community that keeps Westchester moving forward.”
A consistent and powerful theme throughout the evening was the emphasis each honoree placed on their employees. In every acceptance speech, winners highlighted that their success was made possible not only through leadership and vision, but through the dedication, talent, and commitment of their teams. This collective recognition added a deeply human dimension to the celebration, reinforcing that strong organizations are built by people working together toward a shared mission.
