Mid-Rise Mass Timber Construction in the Northeast: Mass timber construction is gaining momentum nationwide and the Northeast United States is no exception. This presentation will explore the application of emergent mass timber building systems to mid-rise buildings, with an emphasis on design topics, case studies, and code provisions relevant to construction practices in the Northeast.
Presented by Andrew Ruff, Senior Associate at Gray Organschi Architecture, Research Coordinator of the Timber City Research Initiative, and a Visiting Critic at the Yale School of Architecture.
