Westchester Children’s Association’s Annual Breakfast Addresses Advocacy in Challenging Times

Westchester Children’s Association (WCA) will host their Annual Advocacy Breakfast in October with the theme: “Advocacy in the Time of Change.” The Kathryn Wasserman Davis Child Advocacy Lecture will be delivered by keynote speaker Damali Peterman, Esq, Author, specialist in conflict management and negotiation. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 21 at 8:00 AM at the Harrison Meadows Country Club, located at 123 North Street in Harrison, NY. With the release of her new book, Be Who You Are to Get What You Want, Damali Peterman, Esq., will discuss how to be an authentic advocate for yourself, your neighbors and your community, especially in times and circumstances when advocacy seems difficult or impossible.

“Every fall, WCA gathers parents, educators, community members, government officials, and other key stakeholders to address a pressing issue affecting children. This year we are focusing on being an advocate for yourself and others in the current challenging climate.
