VNS Westchester Awarded Grant from Aging in America, Inc.
VNS Westchester received a $25,000 grant from Aging in America, Inc. to help stem the tide of sepsis, a serious, life-threatening condition, among home care patients. The funding will enable VNSW to screen over 10,000 patients annually using a new screening and early intervention tool. The VNSW Foundation, Inc. provided a $25,000 matching grant to underwrite staff training on sepsis.
