Tompkins Community Bank Promotes David Carey to Credit Manager, Consumer Lending

With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Carey will be responsible for overseeing business development strategies as well as maintaining and developing client relationships in the home equity and aircraft lending space. “During his eight years at Tompkins, David has been integral to the development of our retail lending team and the services they provide to our customers,” said Charles Guarino, senior vice president, director of retail, small business and specialty lending. “His commitment to the betterment of our community is unparalleled, and we can’t wait to see his continued positive impact in this new role.” Prior to joining Tompkins, Carey worked as an underwriter at ResMac, Inc.
