The Flower Bar Celebrates 15 Years!
On Saturday, January 10, the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce and Larchmont Village officials, along with Representative George Latimer, gathered at The Flower Bar at 11 Addison St. in Larchmont to celebrate 15 years of serving Larchmont and the greater Westchester Community. A “thank you” reception followed, with clients attending to give their congratulations to their favorite florist.
The Flower Bar is owned by Nancy White. A Larchmont native, Nancy purchased the shop in January 2011 and has grown the business 4-fold. Winner of the Best of Westchester in 2022, The Flower Bar has a reputation for excellence in floral design, quality and variety of flowers, as well as customer service. Nancy served as President of the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce until 2025. As President, she oversaw the growth and stabilization of the Chamber finances, as well as implemented holiday event programs to span the season and involve all types of Chamber membership, including retailers, home-based businesses, realtors and non-profits. She also initiated Arts on the Avenues, a partnership of local artists and retailers, creating a strolling art gallery throughout the Village. Other programs involved enhanced networking opportunities and the fostering of partnerships and collaborations between member businesses. The main benefit to membership is the ability to post to the Chamber “Love Larchmont” Facebook and Instagram pages. Under her leadership, the Chamber significantly grew the membership and improved the financial position of the organization.
