Tompkins Community Bank Appoints New Branch Manager to Lead Mahopac Branch
Reinforcing its promise to deliver trusted financial guidance and personal service, Tompkins Community Bank (Tompkins) has named Tyreik Brown as a new branch manager of its Mahopac branch. With eight years of industry experience and deep knowledge of banking operations, lending and loan processing, Brown will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing branch operations, and strengthening relationships with clients and the community.
“Tyreik brings a strong leadership ethos and a customer-first approach to this role,” said Carol Schmitz, senior vice president, community banking manager. “His dedication to employee development and client success aligns perfectly with our ongoing commitment to delivering outstanding service. Prior to joining Tompkins, Brown served as a branch manager at TEG Federal Credit Union. A lifelong Hudson Valley resident, Brown holds a degree in business management from SUNY Orange and will soon graduate from SUNY New Paltz. In addition to his volunteer time with Habitat for Humanity, Brown is a graduate of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Dutchess program, holds a NYS Real Estate Salesperson License and is a notary public.
