Philip DeNoia Joins Fullerton Beck LLP

After spending more than 20 years with an Am Law 200 law firm, Partner Philip DeNoia has joined Fullerton Beck LLP, a White Plains-based, women-owned law firm. Over the past two years, the firm has welcomed nine attorneys, including a leading medical malpractice team and a managing partner of a new Connecticut office.

“We offer unique opportunities and a culture that attracts attorneys from BigLaw,” explained Eileen Fullerton, managing partner of Fullerton Beck. “With 26 attorneys across three offices – New York, New Jersey and Connecticut – we have greater flexibility with our operations and can ensure that our values and culture extend throughout the firm.”

“We attract attorneys looking for a firm that mirrors their values,” added Katrine Beck, a firm co-founder.

This flexibility and culture were selling points for DeNoia. “Colleagues who joined Fullerton Beck during the height of the pandemic would share only positive things about the firm: the types of cases, the collegial environment and the equity that permeates throughout all facets of the business.”

DeNoia’s insurance defense practice is well aligned with Fullerton Beck’s practice. He focuses on general liability matters, specifically premises liability, dram shop, security assault, automotive accidents and sexual assault cases. He represents insurance companies and their insureds: hospitals, bars, nightclubs, and commercial real estate companies and handles all aspects of his cases, from inception through resolution. He also represents municipalities and large, self-insured organizations including major utility companies.

With more than two decades of experience defending general liability matters, DeNoia understands how to resolve cases efficiently and cost-effectively. His keen attention to detail and ability to evaluate medical records and other forms of discovery to determine validity of the plaintiffs’ claims make him a valuable asset to his clients’ legal teams. Clients describe DeNoia as collaborative and level-headed, as well as strategic in his counsel.

DeNoia is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Manhattanville College and earned his J.D. from Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

He also serves on the board of the Bedford-Katonah Hockey Association.
