January 3, 2022—Clinical Medical Assistant Training Opportunity

SWBOCES Center for Adult and Community Services provides job training in high demand fields. Please help spread the word. We need one more registered student to operate the upcoming Clinical Medical Assistant Program scheduled to start on January 3 at our training center in Harrison. Program will run through May 11. The program is offered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-1pm. Tuition (includes books and testing fees) is $4785.

This program is designed to prepare students for work in various healthcare settings, learn to perform clinical skills including injections, minor procedures, phlebotomy, EKGs, and obtaining laboratory specimens for testing. Job opportunities are prevalent with physician’s offices, clinics, hospitals and outpatient facilities. This program prepares the student to assist physicians and nurses by performing the clinical functions of a medical office. Upon successful completion of the program the student will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant examination.
