Impact PR & Communications Continues to Grow Team

Impact PR & Communications, Ltd. (IPR&C), an award-winning Hudson Valley public relations and marketing firm, today announced the promotion of Michelle Obligado to senior account coordinator, as well as the appointments of Isabella Paquette to associate account executive and Kayla Hannemann to account coordinator. Obligado, a longstanding member of the IPR&C team, will continue to support the agency internally and cultivate invaluable relationships with media personnel. Paquette and Hannemann will be integral members of the firm, working with various accounts in the nonprofit, financial services, hospitality, real estate development and lifestyle spaces.

“Michelle has played an instrumental role in the growth of this agency, helping to perpetuate the growth of the team and cultivating relationships with clients since joining in 2016,” said Filomena Fanelli, CEO and founder of Impact PR & Communications. “As we continue to develop relationships and grow our client roster across several industries, expanding the team was a logical next step. I’m thrilled to welcome Isabella and Kayla to Impact and am confident that their respective skills, experience and passion for the field will make them valuable to both the team and our clients.”

Michelle Obligado

Obligado joined IPR&C in 2016 and has been an integral member of the team ever since. From sending press releases and tracking placements, to following up with clients and coordinating reports, to impressive interpersonal skills and technical savvy, Michelle has learned to excel in the fast-paced public relations industry. Obligado holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from Pace University. She serves on the East Hudson Women’s Soccer board and the Friends of Grinnell board in Wappingers. Obligado resides in Poughkeepsie with her husband and three children.

Isabella Paquette

Paquette is a Marist College graduate on the Impact team and joins as an associate account executive. She has an extensive background in press, having worked as the press secretary for advocacy and grassroots organizations, a congressional campaign and in the press offices of the U.S. Senate in Washington D.C., and the New York State Senate in Poughkeepsie. She participated in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World in 2020, earning multiple leadership certifications from guests and peers. Outside of work, she is a U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist and coaches in the learn to skate program.

Kayla Hannemann

Hannemann joined IPR&C in the fall of 2022 as a public relations assistant and now serves as an account coordinator. Hannemann graduated summa cum laude from Marist College with a degree in communications and concentrations in public relations and advertising. Currently, she is continuing her education at Marist as she works towards earning a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications. Hannemann currently resides in New Jersey, though she enjoyed calling the Hudson Valley home during her time at Marist.
