Hudson River Museum, HBO and the Gilded Age

Tune in tonight at 6pm to “On Location From…HBO and The Gilded Age,” presented by Preservation Society of Newport County! Hear from HRM’s Laura Vookles, Chair of the Curatorial Department, alongside panelists from other locations where HBO’s “The Gilded Age” was filmed. In-person tickets are sold out, but you can still attend virtually.

Vookles, joined by representatives from Lyndhurst Mansion and Troy, New York will discuss how the show has impacted our period homes and driven an interest in history. They will also explore characteristics of homes and landscapes at the turn of the 20th century, and how the series brought the past to life.
