Bhava Therapy Group Hosts Grounding & Self-Regulation Workshop in White Plains
Bhava Therapy Group will host an in-person experiential workshop, Grounding & Self-Regulation Skills for Stress, Anxiety & Worry, at its Westchester office located at 55 Church Street, Suite 415, White Plains.
Led by Veronica Vaiti, LCSW-R, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Bhava Therapy Group, this 2-hour immersive workshop offers participants practical, science-backed, body-based tools to better regulate stress, calm anxiety, and reduce chronic worry.
Many individuals experience persistent tension, racing thoughts, irritability, and emotional exhaustion — even when nothing appears outwardly “wrong.” This workshop reframes those experiences not as personal failures, but as signs of an overworked nervous system that can be retrained.
Participants will learn:
– How the nervous system responds to stress
– Why traditional “just relax” advice often fails
– Real-time grounding techniques
– How to build a personalized regulation toolkit
“This workshop is about helping people understand what’s happening in their bodies,” says Veronica Vaiti. “When we learn how our nervous system works, we can move from overwhelm to regulation in ways that feel grounded and sustainable.”
The workshop is interactive and experiential rather than lecture-based. Attendees will leave with techniques they can immediately implement — at work, at home, before sleep, or during difficult conversations.
Date: Sunday, March 15th
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: 55 Church Street, Suite 415, White Plains, NY
