Fullerton Beck Attorney Joseph Sauer Promoted to Senior Counsel
White Plains, New York – (July 22, 2020) New York-based law firm Fullerton Beck LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of associate Joseph Sauer to senior counsel.
“Joe joined Fullerton Beck about a year and a half ago and has since become a trusted asset to the firm,” shared Eileen Fullerton, Fullerton Beck managing partner. “His work on our high exposure labor law cases, and elevator cases has been invaluable.”
Sauer began his legal career as an assistant corporation counsel for the city of New York in the Bronx Tort Division, where he served for more than five years, including two years as a full-time trial attorney. He handled a variety of cases for city agencies including the New York Police Department, Department of Corrections, the New York Fire Department, and Department of Education, involving different issues including civil rights, intentional torts, negligent supervision, motor vehicle accidents and premises liability cases. In this role, Sauer obtained numerous favorable outcomes, including several defense verdicts, and received the Division Chief Awards for his outstanding work twice during his tenure.
Sauer earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law (2013), graduating magna cum laude, while working full time as a paralegal at a White Plains-based insurance defense firm. He received a B.A. Johns Hopkins University (2003).
