Yonkers, NY — Andrus is proud to announce that Corine E. Lurry-Mabin, President and CEO of Andrus, has been named to City & State New York’s 2025 Responsible 100, an honor recognizing New Yorkers who go above and beyond to make the state a better place through ethical leadership, community impact, and social responsibility. City & State’s Responsible 100 celebrates leaders from business, government, nonprofit, and advocacy sectors who are redefining what it means to lead with purpose, turning ideals into action and driving measurable, positive change across New York State. As President and CEO of Andrus, a nationally recognized, trauma-responsive nonprofit organization serving children, families, and communities, Lurry-Mabin leads with a deep commitment to collaboration, compassion, and equity. Under her leadership, Andrus advances innovative, coordinated social and emotional supports across education, mental health, and family-based services, ensuring environments grounded in safety, dignity, and healing. “I am deeply honored to be recognized among so many leaders who are committed to strengthening our communities,” said Lurry-Mabin. “Social responsibility is about collective success and recognizing that every individual’s contribution matters, and that together, we achieve more. At Andrus, we believe nurturing the well-being of children and families is not just our mission, but a shared responsibility. Lurry-Mabin’s leadership philosophy emphasizes mutual care, collaboration, and resilience – values that align closely with the Responsible 100’s focus on equity, ethics, and community engagement. As Andrus approaches its centennial, she continues to guide the organization toward bold, forward-thinking solutions that center empathy while addressing systemic challenges. “As we near our centennial, this moment invites us to reimagine care with equity, empathy, and courage,” she added. “Real change happens when we honor our values, embrace partnership, and remain committed—even when progress requires patience. I’ve learned to see ‘no’ as ‘not yet,’ and that mindset fuels both perseverance and thoughtful leadership.”
