Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam Hosts Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser on June 5

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam (BBBSWP) is excited to announce its upcoming Bowl for Kids’ Sake event, taking place on Thursday, June 5, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bowlero Lanes, 47 Tarrytown Road in White Plains. This fun-filled evening of bowling, food, drinks, music, and prizes will bring together community members to support one-to-one mentoring relationships that change young lives for the better.

Now one of the organization’s most anticipated annual events, Bowl for Kids’ Sake invites Matches, friends, families, local businesses, supporters and members of the community to form teams and compete — all while raising funds to benefit BBBSWP’s youth mentoring programs. Local sponsors for Bowl for Kids’ Sake include Paraco, Rye Brook; Floor & Decor, Port Chester; RPW Group, Rye Brook; Dorf Nelson & Zauderer, LLP, Rye and Spectrum Designs, Port Washington.

“This fundraiser is one of our most popular events,” said Ann Ellsworth, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam. “We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from our Westchester community. It’s an evening that brings together Bigs, Littles, families, supporters, and staff — all united by a shared commitment to uplifting young people through the power of mentorship.”

Participants of all ages are encouraged to create teams of 4–6 members, get into the team spirit, and set fundraising goals. The more each team raises, the greater the impact they’ll have in helping BBBSWP provide mentoring support to children facing adversity.

Getting involved is simple: get a team together, rally support from friends, family, and coworkers, and get bowling. There are great raffle prizes to be had including gift certificates to Target, Club Fit and Dave & Busters and gifts from Bacchanal Wines and Bark Box.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester & Putnam is committed to building brighter futures through mentorship. By carefully matching adult volunteers (Bigs) with children (Littles) and providing ongoing support, BBBSWP helps ignite potential and create positive, lasting change in our communities.
