Your generosity allows us to restore and maintain the John D. McKean and share her with visitors of all ages. Donations support continued preservation, restoration and maintenance work, fuel, paint, dockage fees and other necessary operating costs, as well as educational historical installations and programs. Donations of tools, equipment and paint are also needed. To receive our list of needed tools, please email info@fireboatmckean.org.

The Fireboat McKean Preservation Project is a registered 501(c)(3) charity. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. No amount is too small or too big! If you would like provide for the future of the McKean in your will or with a bequest, please contact us for simple language to share with your attorney or incorporate into your will.
