2016 Annual Wartburg Fall Festival
Wartburg will once again be hosting its historic Fall Festival on Saturday, September 24th from 11 am to 5 pm on Wartburg’s Mt. Vernon campus at One Wartburg Place. This is the third year of the Festival, which was held annually for decades up until the early 2000s and has recently been revived.
With a robust intergenerational schedule that includes live entertainment, a children’s area – Sponsored by The Future Society, Inc. – with a bouncy castle, an assortment of food trucks and a Farmer’s Market sponsored by Morrison Community Living, and an art exhibition, attendees will spend the entire day entertained and engaged as they support one of Westchester’s most special resources. There will also be raffles, interactive activities, and an information table to learn more about Wartburg’s history and unique services. To celebrate Wartburg’s beginnings in 1866 as The Wartburg Orphans’ Farm School, there will also be a reunion for those who once called the farm school home. This event is free and open to the public.
Sponsorships range from $250-$2,500 and offer a wide range of marketing and promotional vehicles with great exposure for all types of business and organizations, including strategic logo placement, on-going DJ recognition, complimentary booth at the Festival, acknowledgment in Development Publications, and of course, complimentary guest passes to the event. For information about sponsorship and vendor opportunities, please contact Karen Thomas at 914-513-5308 or kthomas@wartburg.org.
The Fall Festival is held rain or shine and free parking for guests is available on campus. Campus parking is limited, but addition free parking can be found at Wilson Woods with shuttle service every 30 minutes.
