Please join the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center to hear Monica Mandell speak at their Memory Keepers GenerationsForward Story Hour on May 11th at 7 p.m. from the comfort of your own home.

Monica is a granddaughter and niece of survivors. She grew up in a home where the past and present intertwined. The story Monica shares is how her aunt and grandmother survived the war because of their fortitude, shrewdness, and luck. Her family was a large, loving family before the war. Monica’s story includes how her grandfather’s life and family reacted with her grandmother and her family. Fortunately, a few up-standers saved her grandmother’s life at great expense to their own safety.
