Immigration Reform Focus of Brotherhood Breakfast

The impact of immigration reform on Westchester County’s economy was the topic of a timely panel discussion held Thursday at the 27th Annual Brotherhood Breakfast hosted by The Business Council of Westchester and the African American Men of Westchester.  More than 150 business and community leaders attended the program which was held at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains.

Panelists, who are all members of the BCW, included Maria Trusa, CEO and partner of Forme Medical Center and Urgent Care; Richard St. Paul, an attorney who practices civil rights law, employment law and government relations among other general litigation matters; Peter Herrero, owner of The New York Hospitality Group; and Jonathan Drapkin, President and CEO of Patterns for Progress. The moderator was Eridania Camacho, Director of the Gateway to Entrepreneurship at Westchester Community College.

The Harold Fitzpatrick Community Leadership Award was presented to Isabel E. Villar, Executive Director of El Centro Hispano. The program was sponsored by Entergy, Con Edison, TD Bank, Westchester County Industrial Development Agency and Business of Your Business.
