Party Line Rentals: Party Tents Converted into Testing Tents
Party Line Rentals of Elmsford is using its expertise in erecting tents for parties to help governments, medical facilities and others across the tri-state area set up testing and decontamination sites including the first drive-through testing area in the state at Glen Island in New Rochelle.
The party music stopped after COVID-19 appeared, and subsequently all of the events and parties that Party Line Rentals had been scheduled to work on were canceled or postponed. That’s when Party Line jumped into action, doing what they do best in the cause of stopping the coronavirus. Party Line used its vast inventory of tents typically used for weddings, private parties and corporate events to help medical facilities in Westchester and the tri-state area gear up for coronavirus testing and decontamination. Party Line Rentals set up the first drive-through testing site at Glen Island in New Rochelle where the first COVID-19 hotspot began. It subsequently has partnered with Westchester Medical Center, Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, CINTAS, Con Edison, and NY State Health Department.
Their team has been working 24/7 to ensure the tents and additional equipment are operating effectively and safely.
“We can’t wait until we are able to transform our COVID testing tents back into celebration tents,’’ said Kenny Puff of Party Line.
