YSA Adds Bocce Ball to Westchester League Offerings

Yorkville Sports Association, a leader in effectively facilitating corporate recreational sports leagues throughout New York City and Westchester County, announced today the addition of bocce ball to the Westchester league offerings. The addition comes at an exciting time, as Yorkville Sport Association will celebrate forty years in business this spring.

Since 1978, Yorkville Sports Association has organized corporate amateur sports leagues with an overall goal of fostering camaraderie and wellness within companies. Since it’s inception, the organization has worked with more than 16,000 firms, all under the leadership of founder and CEO, Al Morales. The introduction of bocce ball to the Westchester branch will mark the third sport to be added to the roster.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the addition of bocce ball to the Westchester league offerings,” said Al Morales, president and CEO of Yorkville Sports Association. “As one of the oldest sports known to mankind, it’s really interesting to see how it is making a comeback. Adding it to our growing lineup of sport offerings just made sense.”

Registration for men’s and co-ed bocce ball leagues is now open for spring enrollment. For more information or to register a team, visit www.ysaleagues.com/bocce or call (914) 962-8390 ext. 10.
