BCW Capped Off Its First AI Intensive with Support from Google.org Program

The Business Council of Westchester (The BCW), with support from Google.org, convened its inaugural AI Intensive program this week, bringing together a dynamic group of local small business leaders committed to understanding and integrating artificial intelligence into their operations. The session marked an important milestone as Cohort 1 officially comes to a close, capping off a highly successful first chapter of this forward-thinking initiative.

Over the course of the program, participating small business spanning industries such as healthcare, financial services, hospitality, technology, and professional services have worked collaboratively to explore practical AI applications, improve efficiencies, and position themselves for long-term growth in an increasingly digital economy. The diversity of the cohort reflects the widespread demand for accessible, real-world AI education across Westchester County.

This initiative is rooted in the BCW’s core mission: to drive economic growth and ensure that Westchester’s business community remains competitive, innovative, and future-ready. As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries at an unprecedented pace, the BCW has stepped forward as a leader in AI education and workforce development in the county, creating opportunities for businesses to learn, adapt, and lead rather than fall behind.

A key component of the program’s success has been the BCW’s ongoing partnership with Kathy D’Agostino, Founder / AI Trainer, Win at Business.AI, and Nikhil Jagga, President at CMIT Solutions of White Plains, whose expertise has helped translate complex AI concepts into actionable strategies for businesses of all sizes. The BCW is proud to announce that this partnership will continue, with the AI Intensive Workforce Training beginning on April 21st.  This program will focus on AI workforce training and upskilling, ensuring that local employers and their teams are equipped to thrive in this new era.

As the AI Intensive with support Google.org Cohort 1 concludes, the BCW celebrates the commitment and progress of its participating businesses and looks ahead with enthusiasm. We are excited to continue working with small businesses as they advance their AI journeys in Cohort 2.

This is just the beginning. The BCW encourages all members to stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to get involved in future AI programming and initiatives designed to empower Westchester’s business community.

With initiatives like the AI Intensive, the BCW is not only responding to change, it is helping define it, solidifying its role as the county’s leading voice in innovation, technology adoption, and economic leadership.
