Robert Martin Breaks Ground on Two Flex-Industrial Properties in Hawthorne

As proof of Westchester County’s continuing viability as a distribution and services epicenter for the New York City tristate region, BCW Member Robert Martin Company (RMC), one of the largest real estate management and development firms in Westchester County, broke ground October 18 on the construction of two, flex-industrial buildings — combining for over 71,000 sq. ft. of new space – within RMC’s Mid-Westchester Executive Park in Hawthorne, NY.
Dignitaries from the Town of Mount Pleasant and Westchester County joined executives from RMC, Fieldpoint Private Bank, and community leaders for this important milestone. Also attending was BCW President & CEO Marsha Gordon. Construction on 14 (34,738 sq. ft.) and 16 (36,360 sq. ft.) Skyline Drive is expected to be completed in Q3 of 2025.
“RMC remains a long-term investor in Westchester, as the County remains a significant driver of economic growth for the region, and the investment in these new, flex-industrial buildings reflects that belief,” said RMC CEO Tim Jones. “RMC remains a long-term investor in Westchester, as the County remains a significant driver of economic growth for the region, and the investment in these new, flex-industrial buildings reflects that belief,” he added.
“Robert Martin has been an integral part of the Town of Mount Pleasant since the late 1960s by building millions of square feet of commercial space, which benefits taxpayers. We do appreciate Robert Martin’s investment in the Town of Mount Pleasant and we look forward to working with them,” said Town of Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi.
To date, RMC has signed nearly 300,000 square feet of new leases and renewals at its properties in Westchester, including Los Niños Services at 15 Skyline Drive, Hawthorne; and Emigrant Bank at 7 Westchester Plaza, Elmsford. Among other larger leases signed this year include quantum computing research and development leader Hypres at 175 Clearbrook Road, Elmsford; Northeast-based bakery and café chain, Tatte Holdings at 400 Executive Blvd., Elmsford; electrical equipment supplier, Precision Switchboard at 5 Skyline Dr, Hawthorne; and WestCOP at 2 Westchester Plaza, Elmsford.
