‘Just Add One’ Adds One More Award
The BCW is proud that the “Just Add One” program, which helps businesses expand and create more local jobs, has scored another victory, winning the Workforce Program Award from the New York Association of Training and Employment Professionals (NYATEP). The annual award was presented at the organization’s conference in Albany, New York.

The program, which partners the BCW with Westchester Community College and the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Investment Board, is also scoring other victories as well. Just six months after finishing the program, employers reported hiring a total of 45 new employees. Westchester Community College’s Gateway to Entrepreneurship partnered with the BCW and Westchester-Putnam Workforce Development Board and Community Capital New York to deliver a ten-week program for businesses at the growth stage.
