Well-Earned Recognition for a Key Member of Our BCW Team
Congratulations to the Business Council of Westchester’s Linda Tyler who has been named Senior Director of Membership and Programs. Linda, who has been with the BCW for five and a half years, has expanded her role to include programming and planning responsibilities for a variety of BCW events and programs.
Linda has also newly launched and created the bi-monthly Connect @ Noon; she collaborates with BCW co-chairs on all council programming, including educational content and meeting organization (24 meetings a year), BCW Thank You Receptions, and enhanced Circles New Member Acquisition Events (fall and spring). This past May, the BCW broke a record and welcomed 42 new members at that signature event. Member check-in meetings are also something new the membership department has begun offering in the last few years.
Linda oversees new member growth, retention, and membership business development. In 2021, the BCW welcomed over 175 new members, and is on track to exceed that number in 2022. In recent years, the BCW has strived to create and curate meaningful and impactful membership experiences for every business that joins.
The BCW’s Ambassador/New Member Mentoring Program has expanded as well; Linda leads that program with Board Member Michael Schiliro. It has become one of the most popular programs the BCW has to offer.
“Linda has been a key member of the BCW team, expanding our membership with exciting and creative new programs. We are pleased to recognize her many achievements with her new title,” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon.
