In a major move that expands its presence in the Tri-State region, BCW Member Progressive Computing has announced the acquisition of Star Computers, a Connecticut-based IT solutions provider with more than 25 years of service excellence.

By combining teams, resources, and technical expertise, the unified organization strengthens its ability to deliver managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, business continuity, and AI readiness and adoption offerings across New York, Connecticut, and beyond.

“We’ve always believed that strong partnerships and community roots drive success,” said Ugo Chiulli, CEO & Co-Founder of Progressive Computing. “Bringing Star Computers into the Progressive Computing family allows us to serve more partners with greater scale, while maintaining the same personal relationships and exceptional service our partners have come to expect.”

“Cybersecurity has always been at the core of what we do,” added Robert Cioffi, CTO & Co-Founder of Progressive Computing. “Our deep security focus and best-in-class frameworks will provide Star Computers partners with enhanced protection, proactive monitoring, and peace of mind in an ever-changing threat landscape.”

This new chapter expands the resources available to Star Computers’ partners while preserving the relationships and personalized service they’ve always valued and further strengthens Yonkers-based Progressive Computing’s position as a regional leader in delivering secure, scalable, and people-focused IT solutions.
