Mapping the Future for Climate Risk and Economic Vulnerability in Westchester
How are climate risks such as flooding, storm surge and extreme heat intersecting with economic vulnerability across Westchester County? New data from the New York Community Trust takes a closer look at the communities facing some of the greatest challenges and the organizations working to strengthen climate resilience, protect natural resources and prepare for a changing climate.
The data highlights efforts taking place throughout the region, including the work of several BCW members and community partners contributing to sustainability, clean energy, conservation and environmental resilience. It also provides valuable resources for understanding local climate vulnerabilities and the collaborative efforts underway to address them.
