JLL’s Chris O’Callaghan is working with Part of the Solution to support hourly wage earners and others who are living paycheck to paycheck and are disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
POTS believes that every person should have access to the essentials of life and the support necessary to achieve stability and ultimately self-sufficiency. POTS’ “one stop shop” model of providing a coordinated and comprehensive package of support is the best means of addressing the myriad of needs that accompany poverty.
“Unfortunately, COVID-19 has caused unimaginable job loss and displacement. People who in their worst nightmare would not believe they would be standing in line, 6 feet apart, waiting for food, are in desperate need,’’ said O’Callaghan. “We consider it a blessing to be able to serve, and are inspired by the people at POTS that make the world a better place every minute of every day.’’
In addition, O’Callaghan said that each JLL office throughout the world is involved with charities and philanthropy with countless not-for-profits to give back to the communities that they serve.
