Building the Future of Work: The BCW Celebrates Success of AI Intensive Cohorts I & II with Support from Google.org

The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) is proud to celebrate the successful completion of both Cohort I and Cohort II of the 2026 AI Intensive with Support from Google.org, marking an important milestone in the organization’s growing commitment to helping businesses and nonprofits embrace the future of artificial intelligence. As organizations across industries continue to explore AI’s potential, Westchester’s business community has increasingly come together around one shared understanding: artificial intelligence is transforming the future of work, and preparing for that future starts now.

Through both cohorts, participating organizations engaged in hands-on, practical virtual learning experiences designed to help businesses move beyond AI theory and into real-world implementation. The initiative focused on equipping participants with actionable tools and strategies that can immediately improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, strengthen decision-making, and create new opportunities for long-term growth.

Together, the two cohorts represented a broad cross-section of industries and organizations from throughout the region, reflecting the growing interest in AI adoption across Westchester’s business community. The BCW was proud to recognize the organizations who participated in Cohort II, including Aging Solutions Management, BrightGarden Strategies LLC dba FCBB Westchester North, Choose Your Mindset, LLC, ClearCaptions, Collado Engineering, Cuddy & Feder LLP, DACK Consulting, FiBrick, Green Lane Partners, Leros Transportation Group, Let It Be Written, Inc, Lightspark Leadership, Maid Brigade, Mason & Rice LLC, Murphy Brothers Contracting, Nourish and Gather, OTH Strategies, Sapience Therapeutics, Scott Income Tax And Advisory Services, Signs Ink, Tarsam Public Affairs, The Big Picture Plan, The Boreland Group Inc, Wetchester Magazine, Willett Public Affairs LLC and Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE).

Throughout both cohorts, participants had the opportunity to learn directly from Kathy D’Agostino, Owner and Founder at Win at Business.AI and Nikhil Jagga, President of CMIT Solutions of White Plains, whose leadership helped simplify complex AI concepts and translate them into practical, business-ready solutions that organizations can immediately implement.

The success of these programs reflects a broader shift occurring throughout the region as businesses increasingly seek practical guidance and resources to remain competitive in an evolving marketplace. Through collaboration, education, and real-world application, the BCW’s AI initiatives continue helping organizations build confidence and readiness for the future.

“We have made this a commitment at the BCW through our AI Alliance program, through the work that we’re finishing up with Google.org, and a new, exciting program, AI Intensive Workforce Training,” said BCW President and CEO Dr. Marsha Gordon “The BCW is committed to ensure that Westchester businesses have access to the best practical information and education to utilize AI affectively in their workplace.”

Building on the success of Cohorts I and II, the BCW continues its commitment to workforce development and innovation through its ongoing 2026 AI Intensive Workforce Training initiative, ensuring businesses and their teams have continued access to the resources needed to prepare for the future of work across Westchester County
