The Business Council of Westchester’s Foundation is hosting its first Law Enforcement-Business Community Partnership Forum on March 21, from 6-8 p.m. at the BCW at 800 Westchester Ave., Rye Brook. Law enforcement officials from across Westchester will discuss what is being done in our communities to create a safer work environment for employers and employees. The event will give county leaders, law enforcement officials and the business community the chance to share ideas and concerns and discuss potential partnerships.

Guest speakers will include, Westchester County District Attorney Anthony Scarpino; Westchester County Public Safety Commissioner George Longworth; White Plains Police Commissioner David Chong; Peekskill Police Chief Eric Johansen and Mount Vernon Deputy Police Commissioner Shawn Harris.

“Westchester County is constantly working to improve the safety for all Westchester businesses and employees,’’ said John Ravitz, Executive Vice President and COO of the Business Council of Westchester. “This forum will provide our law enforcement officials with the opportunity to discuss some of the work they are doing in this area and how businesses can work with their local police departments to form partnerships to improve safety.’’
