Applications Begin for Next Round of Economic Development Grants
Governor Andrew Cuomo this week announced the launch of Round VII of the Regional Economic Development Council initiative, a competition for more than $800 million in economic development funds statewide. The competition enables businesses, municipalities, not-for-profits and members of the public to complete one application for assistance from dozens of state programs for project that create jobs and help to revitalize communities.
Westchester is part of the Mid-Hudson Regional Council, which will be holding a workshop on June 7 from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library in Yonkers. Click here to RSVP.
“This is an opportunity to learn more about the application process and to receive assistance with the forms and get answers to your questions,” said BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon, a member of the Mid-Hudson Regional Council. “I would urge anyone who is thinking of applying to attend.”
