New $100 Million Downtown Revitalization Initiative Applications Due June 1

New York State’s 2019 Executive and Enacted Budget includes a new $100 million round of Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) funding, providing $10 million awards to 10 new communities to develop strategic investment plans for downtowns.
These plans, with the infusion of DRI investment, will implement key catalytic projects that advance the community’s vision for revitalization, promote sustainable economic development, and create places where the next generation of New Yorkers can raise their families, work, and enjoy the diversity of recreational activities all within their downtown.
A link to both the Regional Guidebook and the Application can be found on the MHREDC webpage at https://regionalcouncils.ny.gov/mid-hudson.
