White Plains Hospital Named to Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Health Care™ List for Fourth Consecutive Time
White Plains Hospital has been named to Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Health Care™ 2026 list, marking the fourth consecutive year the Hospital has earned a place among the nation’s top healthcare workplaces.
White Plains Hospital ranked #31 nationally among large healthcare organizations (with 1,000 or more employees), making it the highest-ranked hospital in New York State and one of only two hospitals in the state named to the list.
The Fortune list is based largely on confidential employee feedback collected and analyzed by Great Place To Work®, measuring employees’ experiences of trust, respect, fairness, workplace culture as well as their connection to colleagues and the organization.
“Our people are the heart of White Plains Hospital. Being recognized as one of the nation’s best workplaces in healthcare for the fourth consecutive year is particularly gratifying because it reflects the experiences and voices of our employees,” said Diane Woolley, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at White Plains Hospital. “We are committed to ensuring our employees feel valued, supported and empowered to grow, because their experience directly shapes the exceptional care and service we provide to our community.”
White Plains Hospital employs more than 6,000 individuals across its expanding network of inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. The Hospital continues to invest in programs designed to support employees throughout their careers, including tuition reimbursement, partnerships with colleges and universities, leadership development and mentorship opportunities, and “Earn While You Learn” career pathways.
The recognition follows several other workplace honors for White Plains Hospital in 2026, including being named one of Fortune’s Best Workplaces in New York™ and the highest-ranked hospital in the State; being the only New York hospital named to Modern Healthcare’s 2026 Best Places to Work in Healthcare list; and receiving the inaugural Well-Being Excellence™ Credential from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
