Westchester County’s Element 46 Tech Accelerator Seeking Ambitious Local Startups to Join 10th Cohort Starting This September
Westchester County’s Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by QUAY Acceleration is currently accepting applications for its fall 2025 cohort, the program’s 10th, which will begin in September. Each startup selected will experience a world-class accelerator program featuring a powerful curriculum, connections to entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and full-time support from the Element 46 staff. The program will culminate with a Demo Day in November 2025, where each participant will have the opportunity to pitch their venture to a room full of investors, technology experts, press representatives, government officials, and other key contacts. Applications are due by August 22.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “We are excited to celebrate the success of the Element 46 Tech Accelerator’s impact on our local startup community by opening applications for its tenth cohort. The diversity of startups that have come through this program, several of whom have achieved significant growth and funding milestones, speaks to the importance of cultivating and supporting a robust entrepreneurial community and embracing this ecosystem as a driver in the local economy.”
Westchester County Director of Economic Development Bridget Gibbons said: “I strongly encourage tech-focused Westchester startups who are eager to drive growth to take this opportunity to apply to the Element 46 Tech Accelerator. The unique blend of education, mentorship, and networking offered through this program has been a game-changer for many of the participants, and we want to see more local ventures benefit from this offering.”
Westchester County Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Deborah Novick said: “Westchester is home to a creative and collaborative community of entrepreneurs. Programs like the Element 46 Tech Accelerator allow them to expand their networks, hone their vision, and solidify a meaningful growth plan. Whether you are a first-time founder or serial entrepreneur, the Element 46 experience can benefit your business.”
QUAY Acceleration Co-Founder, John Lynn, said: “The Fall 2025 cohort will bring together some of the most promising tech entrepreneurs in the County. The program consistently attracts world-class entrepreneurial ventures from throughout Westchester and connects them with the global startup ecosystem. The Spring 2025 cohort just wrapped up, with founders already securing partnerships and top-tier VC funding. Aqxle AI was accepted to the ERA Accelerator which included a cash investment, and Rafter will soon be announcing a new and exciting enterprise partnership. Overall, the program now gathers the best of the region’s startup ecosystem, equipping early-stage companies with the connections and resources they need to succeed.”
Members of each Element 46 Tech Accelerator cohort are selected in a competitive, County-wide selection process. Up to 12 tech startups from across Westchester are chosen for each cohort and must feature committed founders with at least a prototype of their technology or tech-enabled product. In the past, selected startups have additionally been investor-backed, grant-funded, and/or revenue-generating operations. Applications for Fall 2025 will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and interested parties must apply by August 22 to be considered for the cohort. Virtual info sessions, which are open to all potential applicants, will take place on Monday, July 28, and Monday, August 11, via Zoom. Those who are interested can RSVP here: https://www.element46.org/e46-accelerator-info-session.
In the program, each founder is matched with hand-picked mentors who are leaders in technology, finance, business strategy, venture capital, marketing, and other key areas. Participants also gain access to a world-class curriculum on fundraising, customer development, executive management, product iteration, branding, marketing, and more.
The Element 46 Tech Accelerator Powered by QUAY Acceleration runs for 10 weeks every spring and fall. This will be the seventh cohort produced in partnership with QUAY Acceleration, experts in tech accelerator programming and operations.
Additionally, the accelerator recently launched a new sponsorship program, which seeks partnerships with prominent organizations throughout the Westchester County business community to connect and support founders even further. Corporate leaders, service providers, and others are encouraged to reach out to Program Director Ariela Shai at ariela@quay.co.
