Westchester County to Host Entering & Re-entering the Workforce Job Fair on October 16

Following a successful debut in 2024, Westchester County is pleased to announce that the Entering and Re-entering the Workforce Job Fair will return to Westchester County Center on October 16 from 9 AM-12 PM. The event is designed for those who are new to employment, looking for a new employment opportunity, retired from one career, and seeking to start a new chapter, and more.

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “We recognize that disrupted employment is a challenge that many individuals face, be it the result of temporarily stepping out of the workforce or needing a different type of employment. I encourage everyone, from recent graduates looking for work to retirees exploring the idea of entering a new field, to join us on October 16 to learn more about the extensive job opportunities available in Westchester County.”

Westchester County Office of Economic Development Director Bridget Gibbons said, “The Entering and Re-entering the Workforce Job Fair is specifically designed to support individuals who are interested in learning new skills, reinventing themselves, and exploring new fields of employment. Whether you are looking to make a career pivot or re-enter the workforce after taking time away, this is a great place to meet employers, network with other job seekers, and start planning your next chapter of employment.”

Westchester County Director of Policy and Programs, Small Business and Chambers of Commerce, Shari Rosen Ascher said, “The Westchester County Office of Economic Development is committed to helping residents of all abilities and circumstances connect to beneficial skills training and meaningful employment. We have a diverse range of employers who will be joining us on October 16, and we look forward to meeting the many talented Westchester residents who are looking for new and exciting employment opportunities.”
