Veteran Tax Attorney Ira B. Stechel Joins Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP to Lead Tax Department

Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP is pleased to announce that Ira. B. Stechel has joined our firm as a partner and will lead the firm’s Tax Department. Ira is a veteran tax lawyer with more than four decades of experience representing individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Clients value his comprehensive experience in navigating the wide range of tax issues encountered in both business and personal contexts, from simple issues to the most complex.

Ira’s diverse practice includes significant experience structuring tax efficient transactions and representing taxpayers involved in tax disputes and controversies before various taxing authorities at the federal, state, and local levels. He advises on corporate partnership and real estate transactional work.

Ira’s areas of concentration include corporate tax, employee benefits and executive compensation, federal tax litigation and controversy, international tax, qualified opportunity zones, real property tax planning, state and local tax consulting, and state and local tax litigation and controversy.
