TOMPKINS MAHOPAC BANK ADDS TEAM MEMBERS STEVEN ALFANO AND MARIANNE E. SPIELBERG

Positions Expand on Cash Management and Residential Mortgage Services

BREWSTER, NY, November 13, 2017 – In its continuing dedication to serving the financial needs of the Hudson Valley, Tompkins Mahopac Bank (TMB) has announced the addition of two new team members, Steven Alfano, vice president cash management/sales manager, and Marianne E. Spielberg, mortgage loan officer with the bank’s the residential lending team.

Alfano brings 34 years of banking and industry experience to his position, where he’s responsible for assisting customers and potential customers with their cash management needs, including anything from remote deposit and positive pay, to escrow manager and Internet Banking. Alfano holds a master’s in finance from Pace University and a bachelor in business administration from Iona College.

“Steve’s vast knowledge is a tremendous asset to our clients and will help them meet their business goals,” said Gerhard Voggel, senior vice president, cash management and product sales. “His industry expertise and ability to connect with individuals and businesses make him a standout contributor to our clients and team.”

Spielberg has more than 40 years of mortgage experience, including a previous position as senior loan officer at a regional bank. In her role at TMB, she will forge strong partnerships with other branches, commercial lenders and small business managers throughout Westchester County, along with other team members. Additionally, she will develop valuable relationships within the region’s communities to promote beneficial residential lending products and services. She has led numerous Community Reinvestment Act home loan seminars and those for first time home buyers and volunteers with Eyes for the Blind and United Way.
