Tompkins Community Bank Welcomes Ford Young, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager
An expansion of its commercial lending services, Tompkins Community Bank (Tompkins) has welcomed Ford Young as commercial banking relationship manager. Before joining Tompkins, Young served as senior vice president and relationship manager at Santander Bank, NA. Bringing 25 years of banking and financial industry expertise to his new role, Young will be responsible for business development across the Hudson Valley, while strategically working to enhance commercial services for Tompkins’ business clients.
“Ford’s extensive financial background and leadership capabilities add another layer of depth to our commercial lending team,” said David DeMilia, president, Tompkins Hudson Valley. “We know that Ford will be an asset to our organization, and our clients, and we look forward to seeing him expand our impact within the Hudson Valley.”
After graduating from Bucknell University, Young obtained an MBA and a master’s degree in management through the Thunderbird School of Global Management. An active member of the community, Young volunteers to help coordinate the local charitable efforts of organizations like World Central Kitchen, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and Wakeman Boys and Girls Club. Additionally, Young is a board member for Greenfield Hill Congregational Church and serves as a parent coach for Fairfield, Connecticut’s youth lacrosse and ice hockey programs. He resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with his partner and six children.
