The SBA Metro New York Names Impact PR & Communications 2024 Women-Owned Small Business of the Year
New York, NY, April 29, 2024 — Receiving a prestigious designation, Impact PR & Communications, Ltd. (IPR&C), a public relations and marketing firm based in New York’s Hudson Valley region, has been named the Women-Owned Small Business of the Year for 2024 by the Metro New York District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). A New York State-certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), IPR&C will be lauded alongside the area’s top entrepreneurs and small business advocates at an award ceremony on May 9, 2024, in celebration of the presidentially declared National Small Business Week 2024. The awards recognize companies that have demonstrated growth, success, job creation or retention and community involvement, as well as individuals who have mentored and/or championed small businesses.
In addition to the award IPR&C is receiving, and recognition of the 2024 Small Business Person of the Year, the SBA Metro New York categories include: Financial Service Champion; Veteran Small Business; Minority Small Business; Women Business Champion; Home-Based Business and Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business.
Winners were nominated and selected from within the SBA’s Metro New York district which includes New York City, Long Island and the downstate counties of Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester.
“We invite elected officials, SBA Partners and members of the small business community to join us and honor our winners whose contributions have helped strengthen the U.S. economy,” said SBA District Director, John Mallano.
The ceremony will be held at the Microsoft Technology Center, 11 Times Square, 6th Floor, New York, NY, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2024. The event is free and open to the public.
