The Chazen Companies Upcoming Events July 9, 2018 EXPERIENCED ECONOMIC DEVELOPER JOINS CHAZEN
The Chazen Companies is pleased to announce Julie Pacatte, has joined the team as a Municipal Funding Specialist. Pacatte will work collaboratively with Chazen’s Municipal Market leaders and client managers to identify funding opportunities, develop funding requests, and provide grant administration and implementation support.
Pacatte led economic development in the City of Batavia for the last eight years. As the Executive Director of the Batavia Development Corporation, she co-authored the city’s successful Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) application winning $10,000,000 for the community and implemented the Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) program, one of the first designated BOAs in New York State and the only community to authorize a BOA dedicated tax increment financing district. Pacatte also spear-headed a wide variety of the city’s revitalization activities to include New York Main Street building improvement programs, Community Development Block Grants and she conceptualized a restaurant incubator program supported by USDA Rural Development. Previously, Pacatte worked as Schoharie County Empire Zone Coordinator and director of External Affairs for Schoharie Chamber of Commerce. Pacatte received her B.S from the University of Tampa followed by a decade working in the private-sector for real estate developers.
